Today, 3 April, the magic of design and nature come together at Casa Decor 2025, an iconic event setting the tone for the latest trends in interior design.

This year, Tarimatec, in collaboration with PIA Paisajismo and the talented designers Jaime Rumeu and Silvia Sanchis, presents “Park 33” – a space that redefines the concept of urban gardens and elevates landscaping to a new level of elegance and sophistication.

An innovative concept setting a trend

At “Park 33”, nature is not merely a decorative element – it is the central concept, inviting visitors to reflect. Rather than designing the kind of private garden a client might request, the landscape designers have chosen to create a park that breathes life into the heart of Chamberí – a space for meeting and unwinding. In keeping with the essence of an urban park, “Park 33” is built on layers that evoke not just aesthetic qualities, but also functionality and sustainability.

The first and most essential layer is the vegetation. Here, trees take centre stage. 33 birch trees stand like symbolic sentinels in a space that pays tribute to Casa Decor’s address: Sagasta 33. Imposing yet delicate, these trees create a welcoming, refreshing environment, enveloping visitors in an atmosphere of serenity. The greenery is complemented by organic mounds covered in sedum turf – a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plant ideal for sustainable spaces.

The second layer, dedicated to routes and usage, unfolds through winding paths and organic benches that appear and disappear across the space. This layout encourages visitors to move fluidly between different areas of the garden, inviting exploration and offering peaceful places to pause.

Finally, the third layer – the layer of singular elements – is where design and creativity truly shine. The entrance to the garden is marked by a striking visual statement: a bespoke latticework piece designed by Summumstudio for Tarimatec. This modular structure fits perfectly within the geometry of the space, creating a play of light and shadow that transforms it into a work of art in its own right. To heighten its presence, a circular black reflecting pool has been added at its base, doubling the lattice’s reflection and lending the installation a dreamlike dimension.

The space also features elements that bring warmth and comfort, such as textiles and furniture by Baimara, which define inviting resting areas where visitors can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Sculptures by Sedanía Studio, with their enveloping forms, add a contemplative, imaginative layer, completing the ambience with a poetic, almost dreamlike quality.

The significance of Casa Decor 2025

Casa Decor has firmly established itself as Spain’s leading event for interior design. With every new edition, it becomes a showcase for cutting-edge creativity – and this year, “Park 33” is the perfect example of how innovation and sustainability can coexist in harmony with nature.

Running from 3 April to 18 May 2025, the event brings together some of the most important names in design and architecture, who transform spaces into unique sensory experiences. The collaboration between Tarimatec and PIA Paisajismo on “Park 33” is a truly distinctive proposal that highlights the importance of urban landscaping and its connection with interior design.

Tarimatec: innovation and nature in one project

Tarimatec’s presence in this space is a clear reflection of its ability to integrate aesthetic and functional solutions into urban environments. Its modular profiles, decking and paving products offer not only practical value, but also help create atmospheres that connect people with nature.

With “Park 33”, Tarimatec has shown that design and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. This project is not only a demonstration of elegance, but also an expression of respect for the natural world – an invitation to experience the fusion of organic and architectural elements in a fresh and innovative way.
